I love New Mexico! Incredible art, culture, landscape. I am always inspired when I visit. This painting is from a sketch I did while in Santa Fe spending time visiting Southwest native American art museums. I am so inspired by their beautiful pottery, both in it's graceful form and beautiful design. Here are two sisters, one in Spirit, together carrying the sacred vessel that contains the sweet water of life.
