 A sister to “Flaming Angel”, this little painting contains many recurring themes in my rork - Tibetan flames, angels and wings, reaching upward for Spirit (the circle), carved line texture,and the billowing, undulating O’Keeffian shapes behind her. The underpainting, a vibrant and pure red, symbolizes our root chakra and it’s function of grounding us to earth, even as we travel thru the spiritual realms of our crown chakra (violet).
