A very early work created on Kauai. In some ways, I am shocked at how brave I was to paint this explicit image of a woman's sexuality. I was very shy at the time and this was quite a stretch for me. Much of my work has been a healing journey... I have had trauma around issues of both birth and sexuality that I have come to understand and soothe thru the creation of my paintings. The paintings have been an exploration of not only my personal experience, but also the universal experience of Woman throughout time.
